From the publisher’s summary: “With the help of a playful kitten, Susan and Mike trick a “ghost” into revealing himself.”

It’s a day or so before Thanksgiving and siblings Susan and Mike try to solve a mystery surrounding a ghost that their neighbors have seen but they haven’t. They investigate the sightings and determine when the ‘ghost’ will be seen next. They enlist the help of their funny neighbor Mrs. Pickett (who loves to tell ‘white whale’ jokes) and her black kitten named H.B.

This is a beginner mystery for young sleuths to solve. With medium-sized print and detailed line drawings the story ramps up quickly and the ‘ghost’ reveal is a fun surprise.
