This is a beautifully photographed book of senior dogs in all their grizzled and hoary beauty. Their eyes (when you can see them and if they have them) reflect love and faithfulness back to their owners who have cherished them as seniors as much, if not more than when they were young and spry.  The photographs are accompanied by a short biography of each dog. Some of the dogs had wonderful starts in life but many of them were shelter dogs and a few puppy mill dogs. Regardless of how each of their lives began, they are all loved and cherished now.

I loved all these old faces – but I have to admit my favorite is Hughie the choodle. How cute is he?
