Book Cover Makeover – The Lord of The Rings

lord of the rings a

This week the Cover Makeover challenge is the classic, The Lord of The Rings by J.R.R Tolkien. Another book we have not read (bad on us!) but we’ve seen the movies so I knew the storyline fairly well. Since mom had unearthed some photos of her trip to Mountain Lake Lodge years ago and posted some of them on another challenge, I thought some of them were perfect for this challenge.

This is the base photo - it actually ended up getting lost. I'm a little sorry about that.

I overlaid this photo of a view through the stone archways of the Lodge.

This is a great cover. It’s very effective. I love the way you’ve layered the photos. I need to learn how to make that work. Thank you to you and Toby for joining in again 😄

It was surely a lot of work but the outcome was superlative! I love using PicMoney too!

I love reading and seeing how each of you has created your covers. You really need to read the books. Much better than the movies, as is usually the case. 🙂
